To be honest, we thought that the swingers dating niche would be rather small in the UK. How wrong we were!
With over 600,00 visitors each month, swinger sites are booming and if you are so inclined, they sure are worth having a look at!
Below you will find some of the most reputable and safe dating sites for swingers in the UK, offering plenty of opportunities for swinging, dogging, finding gangbangs in your area and much more.
Swinger Dating Sites Tips
Wider radius search! Since swinger sites don't have as many members as mainstream ones, you shouldn't limit your search to only your area.
Design is secondary! Many operators of swinger dating sites aren't programmers themselves. But don't be put off by the site’s appearance; the content is what matters and is usually put together very carefully.
SDC.com describes itself as the world's largest swingers community. That's probably true too! At least, this website platform established in the Netherlands in 2000 is the clear market leader in terms of "swinger travel."
About 10 times a year complete hotel facilities, cruise ships or similar are rented to create an undisturbed place for several hundred swinger couples. Wow!
SDC.com is clearly number one in many European countries and is proud of their more than 3 million registrations. 750,000 members come from the UK.
The website looks a little old-fashioned but don't let that fool you. Because in terms of "search", "Member Profiles", "Member Videos" and blogs, private event directory, check authenticity, ... SDC is pretty far ahead in our test!
Everyone should form their own opinion at sdc.com - those who put some effort into their profile can do that for a week completely free! Single men are clearly in the minority (under 20%). Many users have created great profiles and are friends with each other - you can see at first glance that it is mostly the experienced swingers who are the ones who clearly know what they want.
So it is rather the exception that in the profiles on "Partner exchange" there's a "maybe" or "probably not" ticked. For most SDC.com swingers that's part of the standard repertoire!
Swingers seem to be everywhere in the UK… so naturally RealSwingers.com is aiming to bring them all together to make contact all the easier! With around 10,000 members and continually growing in many places (including a couple of smaller locations in the countryside where it is particularly popular), finding contacts may not be that difficult.
There are basic features for communication on Real Swingers including internal messaging and even a chat room. When signing up, make sure to state what it is you’re looking for (whether it be a couple, a single man or a single woman!).
Costs:
Signing up and creating an account (whether as a couple or a single person) is free of charge. You can also use the chat room for nothing.
For further features and more communication options, you’ll have to pay for a premium subscription starting from £6.99/month.
Local-swingers.co.uk is a UK based swingers club that since 2002 enables broad minded adults to meet other local members, quickly and discreetly using their private internal email system (so that your actual email is never shown). 200,000 members signed in since 2002.
The owners of the site seem to be very serious about safety and discretion.
There's a complete list of swingers clubs, fun parties, pay parties, swinger holidays, etc. sorted by town with comments from other members that already participated there and share their experiences, opinions and plans for the weekend ;-)
You can chat, send winks...
You can also see all the time how many people are online, how many SwingDates, adult parties...You can even check where those who are online are located in a live map.
Local-swingers.co.uk has a live chat window prominently placed in case you need to consult something or have questions to the support team.
The main downside of this site is obviosly its poor design. But since the most important thing is good content and giving value, Local-swingers.co.uk can still be counted among the best swinger sites in UK.
Costs:
Profile posting is free
To fully enjoy the site, prices start from £19.98/month.
At WellHello.com, singles and couples can come together for flirting and fun… And long-term relationships or arrangements aren’t out of the question either. At present, there appear to be around 10,000 members in the UK.
Do watch out for a few online cupids… There are a lot of genuine users here, however the odd fake profile is going to appear. So make sure to watch out for that!
Costs:
Signing up and having a limited view of profiles is free.
If you want to enjoy features such as seeing photos and unlimited messaging, then upgrade prices start from their “Best Value” subscription at US$9.99/month.
Since 2002 SwingingHeaven.co.uk is focusing all their efforts on providing information to the over 1 million liberated adults, swingers and doggers registered there since day one.
The swingers forum and swingers chatroom let members post messages, links and discuss anything with other members, helping bring a more immediate sense of community to this site.
They also offer a swingers club guide for UK (and an extra directory of UK dogging locations), where you'll find a list of swingers clubs and swingers parties with the number of reviews and ratings.
Members have a space to share their own stories and erotic fantasies.
A live video chatroom is available for adults to meet swingers and chat to each other.
Although the site announces that it is completely free to register, you'll have to pay for some of the services, as with other swinging dating sites. This may be misleading for many people and that's why we classified them in second place.
Costs:
Set yourself up with a profile for free
If you wish to go Premium, it starts from £16.95/month
Although TheAdultHub.com is not just about swingers and not just for the UK, we decided to include it among these other swinger sites because it seems to put more focus, efforts and information about swinging than about just adult contacts.
Here you can mingle with other 1.8 million UK swingers and have fun online.
You can browse and search members and communicate via chat rooms, forums, blogs, video chat and via mail.
At The Adult Hub you can find a directory of UK swingers clubs and party reviews, though in this case, you cannot sort by town or postal codes (they are all mixed up).
Expect sexually explicit photos in profiles (penis or boobs instead of faces) so don't visit this site at work or in front of kids ;-). Couples usually use an avatar as profile picture, so you don't know what they really look like unless you are a paying member.
TheAdultHub has the nicest web design we have seen among the dating sites for swingers.
The profile details validation feature gives other members peace of mind when approaching new singles/couples for a swinging date.
Fabswingers.com came out a couple of years later (2006) than the winners on our swingers category and established itself as the free swingers site. FabSwingers is a community space for swingers in the UK, USA and other English-speaking countries (so you can expect many more members, but not all from your country). It offers profiles, blogs, groups and the features you would expect from a swinger networking site.
You can browse 17,000 swingers and search meetings listings, browse organised events, add a new FabSwinger meet, check the swingers club directory, participate in forums, chat via webcam...
Expect sexually explicit photos in profiles (penis pics instead of faces) erotic toys advertisements, so don't visit this site at work or in front of kids ;-)
The main issue we have with this site is that it proclaims itself as THE free swingers dating site, while in reality you still have to pay to use all features, as with other dating sites.
Costs:
Free sign up.
Extra features such as text message, phone calls, eliminating advertisement,... from £5.
Our latest addition to this list has been Swapscene.com, a free website for swappy friends run by a genuine swinging couple, with about 40,000 members.
You may have used the previous website in the past, called 'Carl and Emmas Swapscene' where you had to pay to become a member (early 2000s), but the ex-owners sold the site and the new owners changed some things and made it available completely for free.
They have some cool features (also free) such as: keeping private notes on other members, keeping a 'hot or not' list, picture comments, fully customisable profiles...
The owners of the site seem to not need to monetise the website (besides some advertisement) and are maintaining it as a hobby. The downside to this is that the design of Swapscene.com is pretty basic, more like a website from the 90s.
In summary: all right features, but poor design and still low member numbers.
Costs:
Everything on the Swapscene site is completely free.
