Gym Addict? New Dating App Sweatt May Be Just for You!
If you’re one of those people who spend a lot of time in the gym then there’s a new app on the way which can also help you find live. For those interested in hooking up with other gym bunnies, the new dating app Sweatt can provide a Tinder-like experience which focuses on fitness fanatics!
Also known as “Tinder for fitness fanatics”, the Sweatt app helps to match you with partners based on things like exercise habits. The algorithm that the app uses works through pairing like-minded users (which is pretty much what most algorithms aim to do… but focused on the kind of exercise you like). It also focuses on the number of times you go to the gym every week.
Diet is another factor that Sweatt takes into consideration. For example, if you’re a Paleo eater then you will be matched with someone who follows the same diet. The same can be said for those who follow vegan or vegetarian diets.
Naturally Sweatt is quite comparable to good old Tinder. You can write a small profile about yourself and also display and/or take into account factors such as sexual orientation (which we’d imagine is pretty important…), location and appearance.
The app is also heavily imaged-based (allowing users to show off their abs) and operates using a swiping Tinder-like function. Matches or 'sweatt's, expire after 21 days of inactivity to keep engagement up-to-date and ensure users stay active.
As an app, Sweatt is incredibly image-based (gotta show off those buns!) and has a swipe-function when it comes to liking and searching for other singles. In order to keep people active and fresh, “matches” that you get expire after 21 days. This of course refers to physical activity… So you have to keep active in order to get dates!
